Giving new life to an overgrown garden

The area above was originally planted with Bamboo by previous owner, this had got out of hand and Liz and Mark asked if I could do anything with it. They had mentioned a water feature for wildlife and so to remove the need to take excess soil away I worked with it and dug into the area to create a wildlife pond. Using some materials from site I then carefully chose plants that would be easy to manage and could take the shade from the glorious Magnolia to the right.
